Avocado Smash

Avocado has a rich, buttery flavor that lends itself well as a dip.

Avocado Smash

Yield: 4 servings

Serving Size: 3 tablespoons

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe medium avocado
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Chopped fresh chives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Roughly mash avocado with fork in shallow bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients and sprinkle with chives. Serve immediately.
  2. Tip: This dip is great with raw veggies, such as cucumber slices, celery sticks, or red bell pepper strips.
