Peanut Pitas
Yield: Makes 8 servings
Team up the popular flavors of almost any child–peanut butter, strawberry and banana to make these irresistible bite-size sandwich treats.
Ingredients:

package (8 ounces) small pita bread rounds, cut crosswise into halves
16
teaspoons reduced-fat peanut butter
16
teaspoons strawberry fruit spread
1
large banana, peeled and thinly sliced (about 48 slices)
Preparation:

Spread inside of each pita half with 1 teaspoon each peanut butter and spreadable fruit.
2.
Fill pita halves evenly with banana slices. Serve immediately.

Substitute honey for spreadable fruit.Jolly Jellies:
Substitute any flavor jelly for spreadable fruit and thin apple slices for banana slices.P. B. Crunchers:
Substitute reduced-fat mayonnaise for spreadable fruit and celery slices for banana slices.
